It can be hard to come up with 4th of July traditions, so we hope this list helps you plan your July 4th.

4th of July Tradition #1 – Play Bingo

This is a great activity to do if you have kids. It can be played indoors or outdoors.

2. Make A Festive Dessert

I love making a 4th of July dessert every year to enjoy after dinner or after fireworks. This list of vegan 4th of July desserts will help you find one to make.

3. Do Your Own Fireworks

I prefer going to a firework show, but if you want to, you can purchase fireworks and set them off yourself. This is a tradition that Americans love to do. Just make sure it’s legal to do them in your area first.

4. Make Red, White & Blue Tie Dye Shirts

You can make these with your family and wear them together for the summer holiday. This video will teach you how to make them.

This is a classic tradition for Independence in the United States.

Show how patriotic you are by hanging your American flag up outside your house.

The 4th of July is usually a really hot day. Beat the heat by going swimming.

12. Learn About the 4th of July

You can brush up on the history of our country for yourself or teach your kids about the American revolution and John Adams.

Look up firework shows in your area to see where they are. If you’re in Utah, we love the fireworks show at Thanksgiving Point. This is my favorite way to celebrate the fourth.
