The Night Before Thanksgiving is a really fun kids book written by Natasha Wing. It starts out on the night before Thanksgiving when they’re preparing for the big day, then it goes into Thanksgiving dinner with their extended family. It has a really high rating on Amazon.
2. Little Critter: Just A Special Thanksgiving
We love Little Critter books for our children, so this is one of our favorite Thanksgiving books. It’s called Little Critter: Just A Special Thanksgiving. It was written by Mercer Mayer. Little Critter is in the school play and the community has a Thanksgiving dinner together.

3. Turkey Trouble
Turkey Trouble is a cute picture book written by Wendi Silvano and illustrated by Lee Harper. The turkey knows that he’s in trouble and is in danger of being the Thanksgiving turkey dinner.
4. Peppa Gives Thanks
We love reading the Peppa Pig books. This Thanksgiving story is really cute. Peppa learns about being thankful for what she has. Picture books like this are so fun! This one was written by Meredith Rusu.
5. The Berenstain Bears: Thanksgiving All Around
The Berenstain Bears: Thanksgiving All Around is a lift the flap book. It was written by Mike Berenstain. It’s all about fall in Bear Country.
6. Pete The Cat: The First Thanksgiving
Pete The Cat: The First Thanksgiving is a cute and fun Thanksgiving book. James Dean is the author of it. Pete is in the school play for Thanksgiving and he’s nervous about it.

Mark Fearing wrote The Great Thanksgiving Escape. Gavin and his cousin don’t want to have a boring day, so they try to escape and get to the backyard swingset.

Thankful was written by Eileen Spinelli. This book helps kids focus on blessings and thankfulness. It will help them appreciate workers and people in our everyday lives.

12. Fancy Nancy: Our Thanksgiving Banquet
Fancy Nancy: Our Thanksgiving Banquet was written by Jane O’Connor. Nancy and her extended family are celebrating Thanksgiving together. There are lots of fun dishes and desserts for them to eat together.
13. A Turkey For Thanksgiving
Eve Bunting wrote A Turkey For Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Moose have all their friends come over for dinner, but Turkey is missing. He’s worried they want to eat him for dinner, but they really want him to just have dinner with them.
