When I switched from being vegetarian to vegan, we had to make quite a few changes. Here you will find our favorite vegan products that we use in our house.

Vegan Butter

We use this butter on everything - veggies, mashed potatoes, in our baking, bagels, and more. It spreads nicely, has a great flavor, and melts easily.

Vegan Caramels

These vegan caramels from JJ's Sweets come in a bunch of flavors. Our favorites are Original, Sea Salt, and Vanilla. You can read our review of them here

Swedish Fish alternative

We loved Swedish Fish, but a year ago we decided that we would cut out all products from our diet that contained artificial colors, like Yellow 5, and high fructose corn syrup. These raspberry flavored fish are delicious.

Vegan Prenatal Vitamins

*I'm not a doctor, so please talk to a medical professional about what's best for you and your baby.

I've been taking these for 10 months and haven't had any complaints. I will say however that it turns your pee neon yellow, which is from the B vitamins. I showed them to our gynecologist and she said two things - don't spend a lot on vitamins because you pee most of it out and as long as it has 400 mcg folate, as folic acid, you're good to go. This prenatal vitamin as of 6/12/19 contains 550 mcg folate.

Vegan Multivitamin & Mineral Supplement

Before we decided to start trying for a baby, we ordered the prenatals above for me and these for my husband. He decided to choose a vegan mutlivitamin (even though he isn't vegan) and was excited that these come in a tiny tablet so that they're easy to swallow.

Blue Diamond Almond Milk

We make our mashed potatoes with this milk, Adam eats his cereal with it instead of cow's milk, we make gravy with it, and more.

We use this vanilla one for chia seed pudding and frosting.

Vegan Deodorant

I was hesitant to try vegan deodorant since I heard that they don't work and are generally more expensive. I decided to try Schmidt's Charcoal + Magnesium and luckily I've loved it and haven't had body odor. This one of theirs is the one that I feel like smells the best.

Vegan Lactation Supplement

While our babies are in the NICU, I've been pumping my milk. My milk production has been low and was recommended that I get on a supplement. This one from Motherlove is vegan and since using it, I went from making 350ml of milk a day to 565ml in two weeks.

Travel Resources

If you're heading to Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, you'll want to know what's vegan there. Amanda from has uploaded their Plant Based cuisine pamphlet, which you can see here
