This is a funny book about a t-rex who prefers broccoli and beans over steaks. He shows everyone how strong he is despite not eating meat. This book was written by Smriti Prasadam-Halls and illustrated by Katherina Manolessou.

That’s Why We Don’t Eat Animals is a picture book that was written and illustrated by Ruby Roth. This is a book about all livings beings.
6. Louise’s Secret
Louise’s Secret was written by Barbara Thumann-Calderaro. There are two cows and one has a secret.

The True Adventures of Esther the Wonder Pig is a true story about a pig and her two dads who adopted her. Esther outgrew their apartment so they moved to a farm and it later became an animal farm sanctuary.

12. Vivi The Supervegan
Vivi The Supervegan was written by Tina Newman. It’s about a little girl named Vivi. When I heard about this book I just had to order it because we use Vivi as a nickname for my daughter Violet. This book has beautiful illustrations and teaches about having compassion for animals.
13. I Am Not Food
I Am Not Food is a vegan board book written by Abioseh Cole and illustrated by Kayleigh Castle. Different animals in the book explain why they are not food.
14. I’m A Supervegan
I’m A Supervegan was written by Katie Clark and illustrated by Sonnaz. It’s about a girl who wants to be a superhero. She learns that by eating plants she is brave and smart.

19. N Is For Nutrition
N Is For Nutrition: Rhymes By The Alphabet was written by Todd Skene and Dr. Amneet Aulakh. It was illustrated by Kezzia Crossley. It has a vegan food for each letter of the alphabet and teaches about that food. We ordered this for our twins for Christmas and it looks super cute! We can’t wait to start reading this nutrition guide in our home.
20. Libby Finds Vegan Sanctuary
Julia Feliz Brueck wrote and illustrated Libby Finds Vegan Sanctuary. This story is about a real rescue turkey named Libby.
21. The Roots Of Our Food
This story is about a child who meets a farmer and learns how seeds grow into our food, the importance of buying locally, shopping at Farmer’s Markets, and cooking whole foods with your family. It is written and illustrated by Adriane Marie.
